Are you Asleep

Is the whole world asleep
Or am I dreaming
the life of me?
Waking up or stopping
What difference does it make
It all appears in me

The thought of ME

The thought of ME
Arises in awareness
the river - just is
even without knowing its name

The moon's reflection in the pond
Is truth in it's reflection
Who is really looking at whom?

in motion

I watch the road
From the window of my car
everything is in motion
or am I the one who moves?

A dewdrop

A dewdrop on my windshield
The whole world condensed
In this very moment

Chasing the lion's tail

Like a little lion
chasing its tail
so Am I
chasing my own shadow
seeking its wisdom
in the light
of my own ignorance

Hungry ghosts

I watch
the people in the world
like hungry ghosts
chasing their next meal
only to recognize
that it is empty of nature
